Jeff Enns

Jeff Enns is a native of Waterloo, ON. He studied organ, viola and composition at Wilfrid Laurier University. He has been singing since before he could talk and as a child was quite annoyed that he couldn't sing in more than one part...He has written many choral works for groups accross Canada and his works have been performed across Canada, the U.S., and as far afield as the U.K., Ireland and Japan. He was the composer-in-residence as well as a member of the CCC on the Nova Scotia tour in January of 2009. Jeff divides his time between numerous occupations - music director at St. James Lutheran church in Elmira, where he lives with his wife Valerie, teaching violin at the Beckett School in Kitchener, composing and being a stay at home dad with his 2 children.


Cy Giacomin

Cy Giacomin is a composition student at McGill University in Montreal, QC, where he is pursuing his MMus under the supervision of Prof. Chris Paul Harman. Cy completed his BMus in Composition at Dalhousie University, studying with Dr. Jérôme Blais, where he composed for (and sang in) several local choirs. Cy enjoys composing for choral ensembles more than any other ensemble, and is currently developing a new publishing company with fellow choral enthusiasts to catalogue original works and arrangements. Cy joined the CCC in 2009, and also sings with Montreal-based mixed-voice choir Voces Boreales.

Christopher Lane has appeared in both concert and opera presentations throughout New Brunswick and Southwestern Ontario. He made his professional operatic debut with Opera New Brunswick in the 2000 production of Carmen. He has appeared with Orchestra London in St. John's Passion and Rigoletto, both under the baton of celebrated Canadian conductor Timothy Vernon. He has also been seen with Musical Theatre Productions in London as Sir Joseph Porter in HMS Pinafore and Robin Oakapple in Ruddigore. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chamber Choir, the Executive Board of Pro and is currently a member of the Board of the New Brunswick Competitive Festival of Music. Christopher is the Executive Director of Opera New Brunswick, a voice teacher and coach and was recently named one of 21 Leaders for the 21st Century for 2008.

Christopher Mallory

Christopher Mallory, has fond memories as member of the Canadian Chamber Choir’s 2009 tour of Nova Scotia, and he is thrilled to join the Choir for its 2012 tour of southern Ontario. He is often invited to sing with local groups in Ottawa and regularly performs with leading ensembles. Christopher is also an accomplished singing character actor and has been applauded for his portrayals of many roles, notably Leporello, Bartolo, Uberto, Papageno, Zuniga, and Sarastro. His engagements in 2011-12 include Dr. Grenvil in La traviata with Pellegrini Opera, as well as performances with the Ewashko Singers, the Ottawa Bach Choir, the Larkin Singers, and the Ottawa Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys, where he proudly sings with his two sons, Nic and Ben.

Joel Tranquilla Originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Joel is a conductor, collaborative pianist and music educator who has worked extensively in the areas of church music and theatre music. Joel is the Artistic Director of the Windsor Classic Chorale as well as the Chorus Master of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Mount Allison University and a Master of Music degree in choral conducting from the University of Michigan. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Michigan State University where he assistant conducts the University Chorale and accompanies the Men's Glee Club. Joel has been a member of the Canadian Chamber Choir since 2007 and is the featured pianist on the CCC’s recording, “In Good Company”.
